Job Posting: West Virginia General Education Teacher
Location: West Virginia Teaching Certification Required
Position: Full-Time Contract (Remainder of 2024/2025 School Year)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs, using ABA principles.
Collaborate with classroom staff, including paraprofessionals, to ensure effective support for students.
Provide direct instruction and support to a caseload of 12 high school students with varying disabilities.
Track and analyze student progress, adjusting strategies to maximize student growth and success.
Work closely with parents, administrators, and other support staff to promote positive outcomes for students.
Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
West Virginia General Educator Teaching License
Core Subjects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work collaboratively with a team of educators and paraprofessionals.
Must be authorized to work within the United States.
