VocoVision is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to work remotely with a school district in West Virginia. VocoVision has more than 12 years of experience supporting remote educators and is uniquely equipped to help teachers deliver their services virtually.
Overview:
Full-time 37.5 hours per week
Hours include both direct and indirect services
Monday-Friday, 7:30-3:30
Contract position
Must be able to pass tech screening and provide liability insurance.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Create and adapt instructional materials to meet the unique needs of each student.
Provide direct instruction to students through videoconferencing.
Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other educators to ensure a comprehensive support system for each student.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
West Vriginia teaching certification in Special Education K-12.
2 or more years of experience working as a special education teacher onsite.
Comfortable with technology and virtual teaching platforms.
Dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
