Role Description
As a Trucking Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods and materials to our clients. This position requires excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate the transportation of goods and materials according to client needs and delivery schedules
– Monitor and track the location and progress of trucks and drivers using our advanced tracking systems
– Communicate with drivers to provide instructions, updates, and resolve any issues that may arise during their routes
– Manage and update the company’s dispatch records and database with accurate and timely information
– Handle incoming calls and inquiries from clients, drivers, and other stakeholders, and provide exceptional customer service at all times
– Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe and efficient working environment
– Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and meet client demands
– Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and technological advancements to continuously improve operations and maintain a competitive edge
